This major is an integrated or undifferentiated program that generally prepares dentists in one or more of the oral sciences and advanced/graduate dentistry specialties.

What can you do with a major/degree in Dental Clinical Sciences, General Major?

If you choose this major/degree program, you have ambitions of a career as a dental hygienist, dental assistant, or a general dentist.  Dental assistant and hygienist jobs generally require the successful completion a two-year associate degree program.  If it is your desire to be a general dentist, you must earn a bachelor’s degree (pre-dentistry or the sciences) and successfully pas the Dental Acceptance test to get into dental school (which is an additional 4-years of study and residence).
